The Lightsaber

Magic Weapon (Sunblade), Artifact, requires attunement

The Lightsaber has the stats of a Sunblade (below). When held by a person, the blade’s color changes to match their alignment. Additionally, it makes lightsaber noises when activated, deactivated, moved, or used in any capacity while active.

Its activation word is “light” in Draconic.

You are proficient with the sunblade if you are proficient with longswords or shortswords.

Blade Color. The color of the Lightsaber changes to match the alignment of the person attuned to it.

Magic Weapon. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon, which deals radiant damage instead of slashing damage. When you hit an undead or Grimm with it, that creature takes an extra 1d8 radiant damage. This weapon also has the Light and Finesse properties.

Strong Bond. When the attuned person reaches level 11, the attunement bond increases in strength. The bonus becomes +2, and the damage dice increase to 1d10.

Luminous. The sword's luminous blade emits bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. The light is sunlight. While the blade persists, you can use an action to expand or reduce its radius of bright and dim light by 5 feet each, to a maximum of 30 feet each or a minimum of 10 feet each.

Light Swinging. Once per short rest, the user may make an additional attack as a bonus action.

The origins of the Lightsaber are a mystery, but what is known is who the blade once served. Sierra Morningstar-Waterstriker owned the blade until her death, whereupon it was placed in the Swifthallow Museum. Supposedly, it is rumored that the Lightsaber will appear to one who is worthy in their time of need. Due to it being a blade of light, it was given the additional name of Ceur'caelestos, Elvish for Blade of Heaven.
